Wedding Reception

David and Michelle

In May 2002 we held a reception at Greens Restaurant in San Francisco; almost a hundred people joined us from around the country in celebrating our Santa Cruz wedding.

The festivities included a nice dinner in a casual atmosphere. We greeted people upon arrival while others mingled among appetizers and photos before dinner. Brian delivered a wonderful toast, then each guest had the opportunity to say a few words to the crowd.

As with such large gatherings, we are sorry not to have had more time to spend with each person, but we hope they all had a good time and we are so very thankful for their presence and support.

Carl (aka dad) awaits arrivals; photos and appetizers also await arrivals; tables set up for guests, assigned by song lyrics; Jon, Meghan, and Mike arrive to find David and Michael looking over last minute arrangements

As the evening winds down, we get in a few last family pictures, cut the cake, and start cleaning up. Grandpa Verl, Michelle, David, and grandma LaNelle; we cut the cake as Dean looks on; candles quiet the mood
